Current Vacancies Job Title: Internal Sales Representative Based: St Ives, Cambridgeshire Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director Job Description The specific duties of the Internal Sales Representative will include: • Generation and development of qualified leads for the field sales team • Primarily handling outbound telemarketing, coordinating with email and mailing efforts across all sales channels with some inbound call handling in response to online enquiries and other marketing activities • Work with prospect database to develop prospective leads into qualified opportunities, coordinating with sales activities • Work with marketing to assist in event follow-up campaigns • Develop and maintain the required knowledge of Netcall’s solutions and services to identify customer needs and maximize the opportunity. • Accurate data entry of new information (company, contacts, job titles) into the Company’s CRM system. • Continuous validation and updating of all CRM data for new leads, including current contacts and associated details and next actions, within the CRM database. • Undertake research as required to identify new organisations and markets for the team to target. Essential Skills & Experience • Minimum of two years experience of operating in a telephone based role, ideally within in a telemarketing or sales environment • Excellent telephone skills combined with a proven track record of building customer relationships over the phone by using a friendly and tenacious approach • Strong levels of PC literacy with in-depth application experience, specifically: o Microsoft Outlook experience for general customer and company communication o Experience of working with a CRM application o Experience of working with marketing / sales / lead generation databases o Microsoft Excel experience with a good grasp of some basic functions o Internet searching experience to gather relevant data and information • Proven capability to work with high volumes of data within tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work • Proactive approach to work with proven ability to work independently when required as well as working part of a team Desirable Skills & Experience • Experience of running queries and running reports from databases • Genuine interest in the sales process • An high level awareness and understanding of Data Protection issues • Previous experience of working within a software company Salary & Benefits • The overall package will be commensurate to skills & experience. Job Title: Business Development Manager Based: UK Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director Job Description The specific responsibilities of this position include: • Create, develop and close new business opportunities from a mix of different sources (including an allocated selection of blue-chip customers, pre-qualified leads from telemarketing, networking through own existing personal & business contacts, and the creation & identification of new business opportunities from scratch) • Be involved in the full range of associated new business sales activities, such as developing Close Plans and Account Plans. • Leverage marketing activities & events as well as the information & leads generated via telemarketing, events and web enquiries to their maximum advantage • Quickly gain and continuously enhance the product and solution knowledge of Netcall’s business proposition including its infrastructure and integration capabilities, to then allow full discussion, presentation & demonstration of solutions to meet critical business issues identified. • Discuss, articulate and present the Netcall business benefits against business requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience • Been involved in a similar role with a software solutions company preferable with experience in selling into the contact centre marketplace • A proven track record demonstrated by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets • An absolute minimum of 6 years in sales with at least 3 years in a large account solution sales role • Detailed understanding of a software solution sales process and experienced user of a fully functional CRM system • Technically adept and able to quickly assimilate complex technical solutions • Multi-level selling skills, ranging from ‘C’-level to Project Leaders level • Strong networking skills with existing mix of contacts within large enterprises • A strong team player across the related internal business functions • Proactive, committed, hard-working and driven individual • Exemplary presentation skills with previous experience of demonstrating software solutions • Stable career history • Satisfactory medical report • Full driving licence required • Willingness to undertake international travel as and when required to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, and on occasion, be involved in travel associated with global sales opportunities.
